Delete your account and data
This page explains how to delete your Memovo account, or delete individual entries without closing your account.
Delete your entire account
You can do this yourself inside the app:
- Open Memovo and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm when asked. Deletion starts immediately.
Delete a single entry
You do not need to close your account to remove individual content:
- Open the entry you want to remove.
- Tap the delete icon in the top bar and confirm.
The entry, its transcript, its photos and its audio are removed from your device and from our servers.
What gets deleted

Retention
Deletion from our live systems happens immediately. Encrypted backups held by our hosting provider may retain residual copies for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten. We do not keep any data after that, and we do not retain a copy of your journal content for any other purpose.
Crash diagnostics, which never contain your journal content, are retained for up to 90 days.
Deleting a subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
If you cannot use the app
If you no longer have access to your device or the app, write to support.skyroonlabs@gmail.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days.
