Terms of Use
These terms are the agreement between you and Skyroon Labs, a sole proprietorship run by Barış Duman (Istanbul, Türkiye), covering your use of the Memovo app. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them.
1. Who can use Memovo
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account.
2. What Memovo does
Memovo records what you say, converts it to text, and tidies that text into a journal entry using automated services. The entry reflects what you actually said, with punctuation and structure cleaned up. It is not a creative rewrite, and content is not invented on your behalf.
Speech recognition is imperfect. Words can be misheard, especially with background noise, accents, or unusual names. Always check an entry before relying on it.
3. Your content stays yours
You own your recordings, transcripts, journal entries and photos. We claim no ownership over them.
You grant us a limited licence to store, process and transmit your content solely to operate the app for you — for example, to transcribe your recording, generate your entry, and sync it to your devices. This licence exists only to run the service. We do not use your content for advertising, we do not publish it, and we do not use it to train AI models.
4. What you agree not to do
- Use Memovo for anything unlawful, or to record people without the consent required where you live.
- Upload content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app or our servers.
- Use automated means to access the service, or resell it.
- Circumvent free-plan limits or payment mechanisms.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
5. Free plan and Premium
Memovo is free to download. The free plan includes recording, journal generation up to a monthly limit, photos, places, search and favourites. Premium unlocks longer recordings, unlimited journal generation, and audio storage in the cloud. Current limits and prices are shown in the app.
Subscriptions are billed through Google Play or the App Store and renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel your subscription in your store account settings — cancelling must be done there, not through us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Premium until then.
Refunds are handled by Google or Apple under their own policies. We may change prices or plan limits; if we do, we will tell you in advance and any change applies from your next billing period.
If your Premium subscription ends, audio files already stored in the cloud are not deleted, but new recordings will follow the free-plan rules.
6. Availability
We aim to keep Memovo running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, and parts of the app depend on third-party providers whose availability is outside our control. We may suspend the service for maintenance.
Please keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose. Use Settings → Export your data.
7. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Memovo at any time and delete your account from Settings. Deleting your account permanently erases your entries, photos and audio from our servers, and cannot be undone. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription — cancel that separately in your store account.
We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these terms, or if we discontinue the service. If we discontinue Memovo entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and time to export your data.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Memovo is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that transcripts or generated entries will be accurate, or that the service will be error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skyroon Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Memovo after that means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings there.
